My ideal client is ready for change. They are most likely struggling with spiraling thoughts, relationship or interpersonal conflicts, depressive or anxious symptoms, navigating grief and loss, or have experienced trauma and PTSD. These struggles, whether they have been life-long or recently new, can be overwhelming and consuming in daily life. When you are seen, heard, and validated, personal growth starts to evolve. I truly believe that in order to heal, you have to feel.
I have a passion working with parents who have children with disabilities. I can empathize, validate and support your experience while also separating my own experience as a single mother by choice to an autistic son with various disabilities. You are not alone and counseling is a place to be your authentic self while gaining skills to utilize to make life more balanced.
Anchor counseling was born out of a passion to support individuals struggling with mental health. The anchor is a symbol for grounding which assists in stability. I provide telethealth sessions for clients who are 12 years or older in Massachusetts via a HIPAA compliant secure platform. I am a Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC) and I am TeleMental Health Certified. I am a member of the American Counseling Association and MAMHCA (Massachusetts Mental Health Counselors Association).
Individual therapy is a healing process. By using a collaborative, strength-based approach, I offer a safe space and a non-judgmental atmosphere to navigate life’s tough waters. When you make small changes to self-defeating behavior and identify new ways of coping, you begin to let go and lead a healthy and balanced life.
